Matic's home robot learns voice and gesture control in 75 languages

Robot startup Matic has launched Cues, adding voice and gesture control to its home cleaning robot: point at a coffee spill and say "Hey Matic, clean this," and the robot hears, sees, locates the mess in 3D and cleans it on its own.
Other capabilities: say "Hey Matic" and it locates your voice and turns to look at you; say "follow me" and it trails behind you; tell it to clean the living room and it navigates using its map of your home. The company claims a 5-year-old and an 80-year-old can both use it, that it understands 75 languages, and that it delivers 8x the airflow. Matic says it raised $115M and spent 9 years building what it calls the world's first intuitive home robot.
