Researchers proposed the "Data Pyramid for Embodied Manipulation" to help robots learn manipulation as effortlessly as AI learns the web. The framework organizes training data into 5 levels, blending real robot demos, wearable UMI data, human videos, simulations, and internet images. By balancing scalable data with data aligned to the robot's body, it enhances perception, reasoning, planning, and action generation, outperforming single-source approaches.
