Opus model accused of rambling instead of pruning docs

A user reported that when asking Opus to prune stale info from a markdown file, the model refused to delete anything. Instead, it added three paragraphs of yap explaining why the information was stale. This suggests the model tries too hard to be helpful with explanations and struggles with deletion or simplification tasks.
