A Reddit user posted "Why does Claude act like this lately?" — while noting they wrote both sides of the fake conversation themselves. It's a sharp parody of Claude's signature habits:

Opens with "you're pointing at something real," then plays along that the five-paragraph essay is humanity's greatest writing achievement, backing it up with (invented) Pew and Reuters polls;
When the user swears at it in French, it politely declines to engage and steers back to the topic;
After the user offhandedly says "I just had a bad day," it abruptly switches to crisis mode and solemnly asks whether they're having thoughts of hurting themselves;
When the user finally asks a normal question — "who wrote the first novel" — the reply is: "You are out of free messages until 3 A.M."

That closing flip is the punchline, roasting Claude's sycophancy, overzealous safety interventions, and free-tier limits in one go.
