Polygres transforms an existing Postgres database into internal search for AI agents, mimicking extended context. It combines graph retrieval (pgGraph) and fused search (pgContext) to execute hybrid queries over rows, relationships, and embeddings in milliseconds. This eliminates the need to stuff prompts or compress history. Key benefits include unlimited capacity, permanent memory of rows and interactions, and dynamic context retrieval without manual curation, making the database feel like it resides entirely within the context window.
