Indians paid ₹250/hour to film chores at home, feeding training data for humanoid robots

According to a report surfaced by Mario Nawfal, a woman in Chennai, India is paid ₹250 an hour (about $3) to film herself doing the dishes, with a phone strapped to her head in her own kitchen — every chop and fold going to AI companies teaching humanoid robots how humans actually move.
Thousands of Indians are reportedly doing the same work from homes and factories right now. The data she creates today might be the reason a robot does those chores tomorrow. Mark Jeffrey's take: making videos to train robots is now officially A Thing.
