Gary Marcus quoted RicRTP's tweet saying OpenAI is falling apart, with 9 important leaders leaving recently and Altman about to ask the public to buy stock. Two walked out within 72 hours of OpenAI handing staff $7 billion in cash. On Monday, August 10, OpenAI completed a deal letting employees sell $7 billion shares at $852 billion valuation. On Tuesday, August 11, CFO Brad Lightcap announced departure after 8 years, 4 as CFO, then COO from 2022.
