ComfyUI Resize Node Update Adds Resolution Scaling and Padding Modes
altoiddealer · reddit · 2026-08-15
The author altoiddealer released an update to their ComfyUI custom node Resize Image/Mask Alt. This node aims to replace ComfyUI's native Resize Image/Mask, supporting simultaneous resizing of images and masks. New features include a 'Scale to Resolution' resize type (adjusting to a target resolution or average width/height) and a 'Pad' mode (black, grey, or white, also for masks). All resize types can constrain dimensions to multiples of a specified value (e.g., multiples of 32) and conditionally skip resizing when a batch already meets criteria. The install directory includes an example YAML file for customizing defaults.
