Report: 21-33% of YouTube Feed May Be AI-Generated Slop

A new report by Kapwing suggests that 21-33% of YouTube's feed consists of AI-generated "slop" or brainrot videos. These low-quality videos are churned out to farm views and sway opinions, making it harder for principled creators to be seen. The report analyzes social data to identify which channels are achieving the greatest reach and how much money they might be making.
