Divya Siddarth joins Anthropic alignment team to work on democratic governance

Divya Siddarth, co-founder of the Collective Intelligence Project (CIP), announced she has joined Anthropic's alignment team to work on democratic governance and against power concentration. She had stepped back from CIP day-to-day a few months earlier to support the OpenAI Foundation.
She also announced that Joal Stein and Zarinah Agnew will lead CIP as she transitions to board chair, noting that these strands of work are converging, and invited continued collaboration.
