According to Bloomberg, OpenAI's annualized revenue has topped $40 billion, roughly double its end-2025 run rate. July run-rate revenue rose 20%+ month-over-month, driven by Codex, subscriptions, and early ad sales. Despite past skepticism about its ability to pay bills, OpenAI has 3x'd since GPT-5, though it still needs to >3x again by 2030.
