Neuro-symbolic world models gain support: top ARC-AGI-3 harnesses use this approach
GaryMarcus · x · 2026-08-15
BranaRakic retweeted and agreed with François Chollet and Gary Marcus, who have long advocated neuro-symbolic world models. Origin Trail's DKGCon has focused on this for 3+ years, and the latest V10 of the Decentralized Knowledge Graph allows building and sharing world models. Chollet cites Jeremy's work, noting that LLM-guided synthesis of symbolic world models (writing executable code to understand causal mechanics) is the approach used by all top-performing harnesses on ARC-AGI-3, and was recommended when the benchmark was released.
