Wisp launches privacy-focused AI assistant with local encrypted processing
bgmshana · x · 2026-08-15
Wisp is a privacy-focused AI assistant that processes all conversations locally in an encrypted environment, ensuring data never leaves the device or is used for training. It uses Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) to prevent even Wisp or GPU operators from accessing user data. It integrates with tools like QuickBooks for local financial data processing and supports open-source models such as Kimi K2.6, Gemma 4 31B, and GLM 5.1. Available on macOS and Linux, with Windows coming soon.
