Google has released Credentio, an open-source C++ library for handling C2PA content credentials, supporting spec versions 2.2 and 2.4. It has been used in nearly 40 Google products, processing tens of billions of generated assets. Credentio enables local validation, eliminating the need to send media to the cloud, offering zero bandwidth overhead, instant verdicts, and full data privacy, with optimizations for large files.
