NSF Funds UVA Project Using Open-Source AI to Generate K-12 STEM Assessments

A University of Virginia team's project, 'Open-Source Artificial Intelligence Methodology for Generating and Validating K–12 STEM Disposition Measures,' has been officially funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The project will expand AI-GENIE (Automatic Item Generation and Validation with a Network Integrated Evaluation) to educational measurement. The team thanked supporters including the Jefferson Trust for initial funding.
