Open-source Obsidian plugin Vault Operator demystifies AI agents from the inside
pssah4 · reddit · 2026-08-14
The author built an open-source Obsidian plugin, Vault Operator, to learn how AI agents work, and released a video explaining the internals: agent loop, harness, tools, skills, and MCP. The plugin reads research papers, judges relevance, and files them as linked notes, based on version 3.5.0 with a redesigned sidebar and skill registry. It's free and open source to help others understand agents.
