Zhipu AI has officially released GLM-5.3, a model specifically built for coding and cyber defense. According to the official announcement, the model achieves top-tier agentic capabilities through post-training on a 743B base model, setting a new standard among open-source models in cybersecurity.
Early testers noted significant improvements in long agentic workflows without the excessive token consumption seen in its predecessor, GLM-5.2. Benchmark scores show massive leaps: Terminal-Bench 3.0 surged from 4.6 to 28.3, and DeepSWE improved from 46.2 to 66.9.
