TeleAI Unveils Drone-Satellite Transmission over Voice-Call Bandwidth
FellMentKE · x · 2026-08-14
The TeleAI research team, guided by Chief Scientist Xuelong Li, has published a new approach for transmitting rich visual data between drones and satellites over extremely narrow bandwidths, such as voice-call connections.
The method aims to overcome the strict payload, power, and connectivity limits of lightweight drones. By using generative transmission to achieve 'Less Bits, Sharper Visuals,' it could pave the way for better synergy between space-based AI data centers and edge devices.
