Shenzhen VLAI Robotics, four months after its headless wheeled humanoid L1, has unveiled the K1, a compact wheeled humanoid robot starting at RMB 19,800 ($2,935), even cheaper than L1's RMB 28,800. Designed for research, data collection, and secondary development, K1 features 25 degrees of freedom, dual arms each carrying 6kg, movable waist and head, 4-wheel omnidirectional chassis, repeat positioning accuracy ±0.02mm, and control latency <10ms, with compatibility for teleop, VLA, and world models. It remains a hardware platform rather than an application-level product.
