Developer Test: Qwen Runs Autonomously All Day, Causing Context Overflow
cephaloform · x · 2026-08-14
A developer shared a hardcore hands-on experience using the Qwen model as an autonomous agent: the model ran continuously and autonomously on local tools for an entire day.
The extended runtime caused the earliest conversation history to fall out of the context window, subsequently triggering a Jinja formatting error. The developer noted that they did not anticipate having to engineer a fix for such extreme context exhaustion during long autonomous runs.
