AI Enters Its Tycho Era: ComfyResearch Enables Large-Scale Phenomenon Discovery

MIT researcher Ziming Liu argues that the "Physics of AI" is still in the pre-Tycho era. Just as astronomy evolved from Tycho's systematic observations to Kepler's laws and Newton's unified mechanism, AI research has so far only observed a few "stars" like Scaling Laws and Grokking.
To systematically observe the broader phenomenological sky, his team released ComfyResearch. This tool is designed to help researchers discover new phenomena in training dynamics at scale, marking AI's official entry into the Tycho era where we can finally see the entire sky.
