dotey · x · 2026-08-14
A developer showcased the capabilities of the DSH-better-sidebar plugin, which provides a complete sidebar workbench for DeepSeek Harness.
Key features include:
- File Management & Editing: Lazy-loaded directory tree, CodeMirror 6 multi-language editing, and inline previews for Markdown / HTML / PDF / Office docs.
- Integrated Environment: Built-in real terminal, Git panel, and background task page with draggable Tab windows.
- Lazy Loading: Core startup bundle is only 325KB, fetching heavy dependencies (like xlsx or docx viewers) on demand.
- Embedded Browser: Multi-tab web browsing running safely in a sandboxed iframe.
