Matic Robot Launches Cues: Intuitive Voice & Gesture Control for Home Robots

Home robotics startup Matic has introduced Cues, a new feature bringing intuitive voice and gesture control to its vacuum robot.
Users can wake the robot with "Hey Matic" and combine speech with pointing to issue commands (e.g., pointing at a spill and saying "clean this"). The robot can then locate the target in 3D and clean autonomously. It also supports a follow mode and map-based zone cleaning. The company claims the feature supports 75 languages and is accessible for both children and the elderly.
