ashwin-ant · ghdev · 2026-08-14
Anthropic has released Claude Code v2.1.232, bringing several significant updates to agentic workflows.
- Multi-Agent & Cross-Session: Subagent forking is now enabled by default, allowing new forks to inherit the full conversation and prompt cache. Users can mention other Claude sessions via @ in prompts and communicate directly using SendMessage.
- Security & Credentials: Added automatic redaction for various GitLab token families and applied the same sandbox and credential-path protection to the glab CLI as gh.
- Plugins & Enterprise: Plugin marketplaces now natively support GitLab repository URLs, alongside improved enterprise market blocking policies and gateway configuration validations.
