Report: OpenAI and Anthropic Have Next-Gen Models Internally, SOTA Pace Continues

A source revealed that next-generation models like OpenAI's Astra and Anthropic's Mythos 2 already exist internally, and labs are already training their successors.
He noted that public releases appear slower because labs are taking more time on safety and external deployment. However, the internal race is still at full throttle, and the industry is effectively maintaining a pace of releasing a new SOTA model every two months.
