Suno's Download Limits Trigger Exodus; Users Coin the Term 'Sunocide'
bennash · x · 2026-08-14
In response to the massive exodus of loyal users caused by Suno's recent download limits, a user coined the term "Sunocide" (Suno + Suicide) to describe the digital suicide.
The user joked that from now on, whenever a company makes a bone-headed move that drives away its core user base, it should be known as committing a "Sunocide." The meme resonated with frustrated users seeking alternatives like ElevenMusic due to Suno's heavy watermarking and restrictions.
