NousResearch announced a 24-hour public beta for Bot Mode in the Hermes Agent desktop app, shifting from traditional session management to an interactive multi-agent ecosystem.
- Key Features: Each agent gets its own chat, avatar, memory, skills, and personality (SOUL.md), with the ability to communicate with other bots.
- UX: A dedicated sidebar manages all bots, supporting quick cloning and live editing of models and toolsets.
- Availability: Currently available as a desktop plugin for a 24-hour beta test before being merged into the main app.
