snowclipsed · x · 2026-08-14
AI company Arcee announced the open-sourcing of nac, a long-horizon agent harness, alongside the beta launch of the Arcee open models API.
- nac Framework: Designed for complex, multi-step engineering workloads. It connects directly to open-weight models on their platform and supports Codex auth. The framework is available now on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license.
- Models API: Alongside Trinity-Large-Thinking, the API now includes several major models such as deepseek-v4-flash, inkling-small, deepseek-v4-pro, GLM-5.2, and Kimi-K3.
This move aims to build a stronger developer ecosystem around open-weight models.
