CME Group and SiliconData to Launch GPU Compute Futures Contracts

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) announced it will list futures contracts for GPU costs starting October 5. Developed in partnership with SiliconData, the contracts aim to help market participants hedge against compute price volatility and enable price discovery, marking a major step in the commoditization of AI compute.
