GitHub Open-Source Project agent-skills: Reusable Skill Library for AI Coding Agents
kevinkern · x · 2026-08-14
instructa/agent-skills is an open-source collection of skills for AI coding agents, designed to provide independent, reusable capabilities to prevent "agentic drift" when working in large codebases.
The project allows users to quickly install various skills via CLI and is compatible with popular clients like Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor. Current practical skills include engineering practices such as code refactoring (hard-cut for replacing legacy paths), test suite consolidation (consolidate-test-suites), and root cause analysis (root-cause-finder).
