Cerebras Launches Ultrafast Mode for GPT-5.6 Sol, Boosting Generation Speed by 7x

Cerebras announced that its Ultrafast mode for GPT-5.6 Sol is now in limited preview.
In a benchmark test building a financial terminal-style dashboard, the Ultrafast mode completed the task in 1 minute and 50 seconds, compared to 12 minutes and 20 seconds on Standard mode—delivering the same result nearly 7 times faster.
