DeepSeek Open-Sources Harness v0.1: A Fully Plugin-Based Agent Architecture
burny_tech · x · 2026-08-14
DeepSeek has released DeepSeek Harness v0.1 in Developer Preview under the MIT license. Built on the Cordis meta-framework, its core philosophy is that "Everything is a plugin."
- Models, tools, skills, sandboxes, filesystems, orchestration loops, and even the UI are all implemented as first-class plugins that can be mixed, matched, replaced, and extended.
- Developers praise its clean architecture, noting that it enables true spatiotemporal composability for agents by allowing users to mount, recompose, and extend at the configuration layer without forking a privileged core.
