Matic Introduces Voice & Gesture Control for Home Robots

Home robot brand Matic announced a new Cues interaction system, aiming to eliminate the cumbersome app-based experience of traditional robot vacuums.
Users can simply point at a mess and say "clean this," and the robot will use audio, visual, and 3D localization to clean it autonomously. Key features include:
- Wake & Follow: Saying "Hey Matic" locates the user's voice, turns the robot, and it can even follow the user around.
- Intuitive Interaction: No need to draw zones or tap through apps; it supports 75 languages and is accessible for all ages.
The product was in development for 9 years and recently raised $115 million in funding.
