Anthropic Plans Invisible Watermarks for Claude-Generated Text and Files
CackleRooster · reddit · 2026-08-14
Anthropic announced it will add hidden but machine-readable watermarks to text and images generated by its latest Claude models, with plans to extend this to older models.
This move means it will be much harder for users (especially students) to pass off AI-generated content as their own. Other AI companies in the industry are also expected to implement similar watermarking measures.
