HeyGen and Cartesia Integrate Live Avatars with Voice Agents
HeyGen · x · 2026-08-14
HeyGen and Cartesia have announced a new technical integration, combining HeyGen's LiveAvatar with Cartesia's voice agents to give AI agents expressive, real-time faces and voices.
According to the official documentation, the solution allows developers to add a streaming avatar to a deployed Cartesia Line agent. The Cartesia agent handles the prompt, tools, voice, and turn-taking, while LiveAvatar renders lip-synced video from the agent's audio. Developers only need to provide an agentid and API key to get started, eliminating the need for a custom audio pipeline.
