Matic Robot Vacuum Unveiled: Features 5 RGB-IR Cameras and On-Device NVIDIA AI
testingcatalog · x · 2026-08-14
Matic has introduced a smart vacuum and mop robot emphasizing visual intelligence and privacy. The device is equipped with 5 RGB-IR cameras and an onboard NVIDIA computer to handle mapping, navigation, and object recognition entirely on-device.
Prioritizing a privacy-first design, the robot discards raw camera footage in real time, never uploads data to the cloud, and can be set up without an internet connection. Its vision system identifies furniture, rugs, cables, and pets, automatically adjusting suction, mop pressure, and movement patterns based on the environment.
