Arcee Open-Sources NAC, Its Async Agent Harness Driving Core Dev Pipelines
code_star · x · 2026-08-14
Arcee has officially open-sourced NAC, an internal agent harness, alongside the beta of its expanded Open Models API.
NAC is built exclusively for long-running, asynchronous, and hands-off tasks. The Arcee research team has used it daily since April. Notably, a significant portion of the code committed to their pre-training, post-training, and data pipelines over the last 3 months was powered by NAC, often driven remotely via phones. What started as an internal side project quickly saw internal adoption due to its robust orchestration capabilities.
