Cerebras officially previewed the 'Ultrafast' mode for OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol, powered by its hardware. The mode achieves inference speeds of up to 750 tokens per second, making it 14× faster than standard processing. In the challenging Humanity's Last Exam benchmark, it completed the task in 11 hours and 11 minutes—nearly 7× faster than Claude Fable 5 with comparable accuracy.
