Research firm Mach33 has released a new AI Compute Keystone Model, a market-clearing engine designed to forecast AI compute supply and demand from 2026 to 2040. Built on nine months of terrestrial and orbital compute work, the model tests assumptions against an highly uncertain AI future.

As AI accelerates, traditional financial modeling tools are quickly becoming obsolete. The research explores not only the scale and location of future infrastructure but also touches on the cutting-edge concept of orbital data centers. Investors also note a new research community building around SpaceX, similar to Tesla's early days.
