Jiahui Yu, a key figure in Meta's multimodal team, announced he is leaving the company to start a new venture.
In his departure statement, he expressed that building the TBD Lab alongside Mark Zuckerberg and Alexandr Wang was deeply inspiring. He highlighted his pride in the team's accomplishments across multimodal projects including Muse Spark, Voice Mode, Muse Image, and Muse Video, noting he is now drawn to a new problem that will matter deeply to humanity.
