HeyGen Details Avatar V Tech: Reading Full Video Preserves Micro-expressions
HeyGen · x · 2026-08-14
HeyGen explained why its new avatar system, Avatar V, delivers more realistic results.
The company noted that while most avatar systems compress a person into a single reference frame, Avatar V reads the entire reference video at every layer. This mechanism allows the preservation of teeth, skin texture, micro-expressions, and actual talking rhythm, avoiding the stiffness common in previous AI avatars.
