Ampersend Integrates x402 Payments into Hermes Agents for Autonomous Spending

Ampersend has released a new integration package that wires x402 payment capabilities directly into NousResearch's Hermes Agent framework.
Key Features:
- Identity & Account Management: Sets up individual smart accounts and session keys for each agent via the Ampersend dashboard approval flow.
- Spend Guardrails: Validates each payment against per-transaction and daily spend limits client-side before the request reaches the API.
- Terminal Calls: Agents can call paid endpoints directly via the CLI, with an --inspect flag to show costs before committing to payment.
- TypeScript Support: Provides a typed getPaidFetch() to handle the full x402 flow, with payments settling in USDC on Base.
