Prediction: AI Will Solve a Million Math Problems by Year-End

An X user makes a highly optimistic prediction regarding the acceleration of AI-assisted research. They argue that as token costs drop 10-fold with the next generation of models, the throughput of AI proving mathematical conjectures will explode, expecting over 1,000 proofs per month.
Following this exponential growth trend, AI could accumulate at least a million proven conjectures and solved open problems by the end of this year. By the end of 2026, they predict almost all (around 99%) of current scientific questions will be completely solved.
