Amazon Quick Integrates with Microsoft 365 for Agentic Workflows
AWS ML Blog · rss · 2026-08-13
Amazon has announced that its AI assistant, Amazon Quick, is now directly integrated into Microsoft 365 applications, allowing users to leverage its capabilities within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook without switching contexts.
The core strength of Amazon Quick lies in its robust data connectivity. It bridges enterprise data sources such as Amazon QuickSight dashboards, Salesforce, Jira, and Slack, enabling the AI to take action based on real business data. Users can draft RFPs in Word using internal knowledge bases or pull external data into Excel for automated formatting and anomaly analysis.
The extension runs entirely in the cloud with no client-side installation, featuring full audit trails and data residency controls. It is available at no extra cost for Plus, Professional, or Enterprise plan customers.
