Medical AI Model Deployed in Hospitals: Weighing Multimodal Architecture Routes

The medical testing model novamind showed excellent benchmark results and has been validated in Peking Union Medical College Hospital's production environment. It will soon be deployed in community hospitals, with dozens expected in the second half of the year (the model remains closed-source, but papers are coming).

- CLIP + Text Model: Training a small CLIP model for image feature extraction, combined with a text model for clinical interpretation.
- Native Multimodal Base: Directly fine-tuning a multimodal foundation model for native interpretation.
