Shane Gu announced three major new additions to his team:
- Rafailov: Co-developer of DPO (Direct Preference Optimization) at Stanford, and a founding member and Tinker co-creator at Thinking Machine.
- Arvind: Former Google Brain employee who co-developed GPT-3 and GPT-4 at OpenAI.
- Jack Ji: A Reinforcement Learning (RL) PhD from Princeton.
