Microsoft's MarkItDown: Convert Multiple File Formats to Markdown

MarkItDown is a lightweight Python utility designed for LLMs and text analysis pipelines, capable of converting various files into Markdown format.
It currently supports a wide range of formats including PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Images (EXIF metadata and OCR), Audio (metadata and speech transcription), HTML, text-based formats (CSV/JSON/XML), ZIP files, YouTube URLs, and EPubs.
