DPO Co-author Joins Google DeepMind Alongside GPT-3 Core Developer

Shane Gu of Google DeepMind announced three major additions to his team: Rafael Rafailov (co-developer of DPO from Stanford/Thinking Machine), Arvind (co-developer of GPT-3 and GPT-4, formerly at OpenAI), and Jack Ji (a Princeton RL PhD). Gu noted that working with a smaller, flexible team is more productive and fun in the current landscape.
