Anthropic Could Target Autumn IPO at Over $2 Trillion Valuation
Ars Technica AI · rss · 2026-08-13
According to the Financial Times, several Anthropic investors expect the AI startup to go public this autumn at a valuation exceeding $2 trillion.
This dizzying figure would eclipse SpaceX and potentially mark the largest IPO in history. Backers believe Anthropic's rapidly rising revenue justifies more than doubling its current valuation upon listing. While this would unlock billions in gains for early investors, it will also serve as a major stress test for public markets growing increasingly nervous about the AI boom.
