DeepSeek Open-Sources Agent Framework 'Harness'
sudoraohacker · x · 2026-08-13
DeepSeek released DeepSeek Harness v0.1 in Developer Preview, open-sourced under the MIT license. Built on the Cordis meta-framework, its core design philosophy is "Everything is a plugin," allowing models, tools, skills, sandboxes, and UI to be freely mixed and replaced.
The framework natively supports SDKs like Claude Code and Codex. It also features a KV cache-aware design, ensuring cache validity by appending modifications at the end rather than altering the historical prefix.
